Prescott College

Prescott College has provided an alternative to traditional education for more than 60 years. Its educational approach brings together knowledge from different fields and connects study with creativity, empathy, and hands-on experiences. The college focuses on social justice and environmental sustainability, with students encouraged to address evolving challenges and contribute to their communities.

The main campus is in Prescott, in Northern Arizona’s Mogollon Highlands, a region the college identifies as one of the world’s most biodiverse. This setting supports study connected to the environment and community. Academic areas include Adventure Education, Environmental Humanities, Psychology, Counseling, and Sustainability. Programs are available at undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. levels, and experienced faculty and mentors support learning across these fields.

International students should expect an education that can extend beyond the Prescott campus. Prescott College provides opportunities to explore marine ecosystems at the Kino Bay Center in Mexico and take part in community-based learning at the Dopoi Center in Kenya. Other global centers include the Green Mountain Center for Sustainability, the Social and Environmental Community Center, AZ Serve, and the Walnut Creek Center for Education & Research. Applications are submitted online, and undergraduate tuition is $15,000 for Fall 2026.
