Introduction

Regent University combines Christian formation with academic and professional preparation. Students can pursue associate, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and Juris Doctor degrees, as well as certificates. More than 150 areas of study cover arts and communication, business and leadership, divinity and theology, education, law, government and history, nursing and healthcare, psychology and counseling, and science, technology, engineering and math. Undergraduate students can also choose from more than 30 minors. The university’s 100-acre campus is in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and programs are available online or on campus. Course sessions run for eight or 15 weeks, and transfer students may transfer up to 90 credit hours. Faculty members include scholars and practitioners, while academic and student services support students throughout their studies. The campus includes student housing, the Welcome Center, the Ordinary Cafe, a library plaza, and science facilities with tours available for selected programs. Campus life includes worship at UnChapel, prayer gatherings, student organizations, concerts, games, and other scheduled activities. Prospective students can attend classes, meet professors, explore programs, and speak with current students during College Preview Weekend. International students should consider whether online study or relocation to Virginia Beach best fits their plans, then review the requirements for their chosen degree. Regent’s broad program range includes options in communication, international development, government, computer science, nursing, education, and theology.
