Stonehill College

Stonehill’s academic offering covers more than 100 programs in business, science, social science, arts and humanities. Economics students use data to examine human behavior and responses to incentives, while programs in biology, theatre, education, sport management, exercise science and digital media production connect study with professional interests. A 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio supports close contact with professors and personalized advising.

Practical learning is central to the Stonehill experience. The College guarantees that every graduate will complete at least one hands-on experience intended to strengthen career prospects, whether through an internship, service opportunity or another form of experiential education. Students can also pursue graduate degrees and certificates, and current undergraduates may complete the Skyhawk Accelerated Dual Degree, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stonehill in five years.

Stonehill occupies a 384-acre campus in Easton, with academic resources, athletics and student activities based around the College community. Its Congregation of Holy Cross tradition is expressed through the motto Lux et Spes, or Light and Hope, and a focus on compassionate leadership. The College competes in NCAA Division I athletics and is developing new facilities, including an arena with basketball and ice hockey spaces. A partnership with the University of Portland gives students the option to study away for a semester or year in Oregon, while Stonehill welcomes students from all walks of life.
