Trinity Baptist College

Trinity Baptist College was founded in 1974 by Trinity Baptist Church to prepare students for spiritual, emotional, and academic success through higher education from a Christian worldview. Its mission centers on preparing Christian men and women for life and ministry. The college offers general and professional studies, liberal arts degree programs, and graduate studies, with degrees available through local and virtual formats.

The campus shares approximately 140 acres with Trinity Ministries on Jacksonville’s west side. Downtown Jacksonville is only minutes away, while area beaches are less than an hour from campus. This location gives students access to the city for employment and recreation while maintaining a campus setting connected to a church ministry.

International students should expect faith to be part of the college’s academic and campus environment. The institution describes its purpose through service, leadership, and personal development, and students may find opportunities to become involved in campus life, athletics, chapel activities, and ministry preparation. Professors and staff are presented as personally supportive, while the college’s smaller setting can make it easier for students to build relationships and participate in the community. Applicants can choose from locally delivered or virtual programs and should consider how Trinity’s Christian worldview fits their educational and personal goals.
