Union University

Union University is a private Christian university in Jackson, Tennessee. Its academic identity connects faith and learning across more than 70 programs, with study options in the liberal arts, business, education, nursing and health sciences, pharmacy, social work, theology, adult and professional studies, and urban and theological studies. Undergraduate, graduate, adult, and online pathways are available. Faculty members serve as scholars and mentors, with an emphasis on personal development, academic preparation, integrity, and service.

Campus life centers on residential community, chapel, athletics, student organizations, and campus traditions. Resident students have private bedrooms in apartment-style housing, with four students sharing a living room, kitchen, and private bathrooms. Union lists more than 90 student organizations, six national fraternities and sororities, campus coffee shops, academic tutoring, counseling, health services, career guidance, and discipleship opportunities. These features create a structured setting for students who want their studies and faith to shape daily life.

International students should expect a distinctly Christ-centered environment and opportunities to participate in campus life through organizations, worship, athletics, and residence life. Union offers undergraduate, graduate, and adult studies admissions routes, alongside financial aid and scholarship information. Student-life services include an international student engagement role within the Vocatio Center, as well as academic, health, counseling, residence, and safety support. The university reports that 95 percent of its undergraduates are employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation.
