Wade College

Wade College has spent more than 60 years building an education around individualized attention. The college is smaller by design, with approximately a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio, open-door access to faculty and administration, study halls, and tutoring sessions. A dedicated student success coach helps each student plan a degree, select electives, manage a course load, or make use of prior college credit.

Academic and career preparation connect closely at Wade. Professors combine academic qualifications with current industry experience and use practical projects to develop workplace skills and standards. Programs include areas such as Fashion Design and Product Development, Interior Design, and Marketing and Management. Every graduating student completes Portfolio Design & Presentation, ending with a professional portfolio critique from external industry experts. Eligible internships can count for course credit through Field Experience classes.

The campus is in Dallas, within the DFW area, giving students access to regional employers as well as art and cultural activities. Day and evening courses, in-person and online delivery, and live lectures provide options for students balancing work or family responsibilities. The Wade College Student Association organizes guest speakers, field trips, workshops, design competitions, and community service activities. Students and alumni also receive access to a curated job posting site, career planning support, and help developing professional profiles, resumes, portfolios, and interview skills.
