This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers seeking entry into the health care field. Students learn to provide basic care to patients in hospitals, long-term care, and assisted living settings. The curriculum covers patient support, safety, and communication skills. Training includes online theory and in-person clinical placements.

40 weeks (735 hours), blended format with online theory and in-person practical labs and clinical placements.

Graduates work as health care aides in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and assisted living homes.

Completion of English 20-1 or 20-2 with 60% or equivalent, or English 30-1 or 30-2 with 55% or equivalent. English language proficiency required for non-native speakers: IELTS Academic overall 6 (no band below 5.5), TOEFL iBT overall 71, CELPIP General overall 7 (no section below 6), CLB Level 7 in all skills, Duolingo English Test 95, or CELBAN Level 7 in all skills. Applicants must also demonstrate computer and technology skills.

On-campus and online, full-time, 10 months.
