Master in Intervention in Addictions

Tuition is CAD 18,000 per year (international).

This programme focuses on the clinical and practical aspects of addiction intervention. Students study assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques for individuals and groups affected by substance use disorders. The curriculum includes courses in psychosocial factors, ethics, and evidence-based practices in addiction care.

The programme is delivered through a mix of lectures, seminars, and supervised clinical practice. Students complete a research project or thesis under faculty supervision. Teaching is conducted in French, with some materials available in English.

Graduates are prepared to work in healthcare settings, community agencies, or private practice. The degree meets requirements for professional certification in addiction counselling in Quebec.
