Bachelor in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse (Bachelor's)

For more than 21 years, Unitek College of Nursing has focused on preparing students for healthcare careers. It has grown into a college with nine campuses across California and Nevada and more than 24,500 graduates from its programs. Its approach combines classroom instruction with hands-on learning, including labs, simulations, clinical or practical experiences, and externships where applicable. Academic offerings include nursing and allied health pathways such as the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Medical Assisting, Vocational or Practical Nursing, and Associate of Science in Vocational Nursing. The hybrid BSN program combines online and in-person study, develops core nursing knowledge and patient care skills, and includes preparation for registered nursing roles and licensure. Programs are designed for students entering healthcare for the first time as well as those changing careers. Students can access advising, tutoring, writing labs, NCLEX preparation, financial aid guidance, wellness coaching, and career services. Student Persistence Specialists monitor attendance, grades, and engagement, beginning outreach during the second week of a program and continuing through completion. Career Services provides resume and interview coaching, job-search support, and employer connections. Applicants should expect to provide proof of high school graduation or an equivalent qualification; some programs may also require assessments, interviews, background checks, or drug screenings. Programs may accept transfer credits after transcript evaluation.
