    About Keuka College

Healthcare has remained central to Keuka College since its Nursing program began during World War II at the urging of first lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The College’s Field Period® program extends this practical focus beyond the classroom, giving students opportunities to apply their learning through internships and community-based work. A nearly completed Rural Community Outpatient Health Clinic will expand local access to healthcare while creating experiential learning opportunities for students in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and related healthcare programs.

Keuka’s academic work includes Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Forensic Psychology, and leadership education. The Occupational Therapy program has developed over four decades. Graduate students can study the Master of Science in Leadership, which grew from the former M.S. in Management and includes an emphasis on international business and cross-cultural collaboration. Keuka’s community also contributes to research and applied projects, including coral reef restoration and the practical use of generative artificial intelligence. Students can connect classroom knowledge with professional settings through field experiences and clinical training.

The campus sits on Keuka Lake in Keuka Park, New York, a setting described by an international alumnus as peaceful and suited to focused study. The same account points to access to New York City’s energy and opportunities, offering a contrast between a lakeside campus and a major U.S. city. Keuka provides on-campus, online, graduate, and international study options. International students interested in graduate leadership can find coursework shaped by global teams, international business, and cross-cultural work.
