Post-Degree Diploma in Accounting

This one-year programme prepares individuals for intermediate roles in accounting. Positions include financial reporting, taxation, management, and auditing. It is for those with a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration. Core topics include intermediate accounting, income tax, data analytics, auditing, and advanced management accounting.

Classes run during the day and evening. Students can study full-time or part-time. The programme requires 30 credits. At least 15 credits must be completed at Douglas College. A minimum GPA of 2.00 is required. All coursework must be finished within four years. No co-op placements are offered because of the programme's length.

Applications are accepted for Fall, Winter, and Summer intakes. Admission is open to those with a qualifying degree and required prerequisite courses. International students must contact the college's international office. Upon completion, individuals meet the entry requirements for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
