About Advanced Data Analytics for Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing

The application deadline is 14th August 2026.

The programme spans a single semester and is delivered in a blended format: three days of theory and hands-on practicals at the NIBRT facility in Dublin, followed by online study that can be completed within twelve months.

It targets operators, technical staff, new hires, sales staff, managers and other industry employees who have limited prior exposure to statistics but need to apply data-driven approaches in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Students spend roughly three hours per week on online lectures and exercises, while the on-site days focus on case-study analysis, small-scale R coding (2-3 lines) and data-analysis projects that reflect the end-to-end bioprocess workflow.

    • Core module: Advanced Data Analytics for Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (5 ECTS, mandatory)
    • NIBRT Global Qualification (NGQ) micro-credential (5 ECTS) awarded on completion
    • Three on-site practical days at NIBRT Dublin with laptops pre-loaded with required software
    • Assessment through lab report (40 %), reflective report (30 %) and theory exam (30 %)
