Havacılık ve Uzay Mühendisliği

Tuition comes to 2,400 USD per year.

Aerospace Engineering focuses on the design, development, and testing of aircraft, spacecraft, and related systems. Core subjects generally include aerodynamics, propulsion, structural analysis, flight mechanics, and materials science, built on a foundation of mathematics, physics, and general engineering principles. Students study how vehicles behave under different flight and orbital conditions, and how structures are designed to withstand the stresses involved. Laboratory and project work often involves wind tunnel testing, computational modeling, and design exercises that simulate real engineering challenges in the aerospace sector. Graduates typically move into roles with aircraft manufacturers, space agencies, defense industries, or research institutions, and some continue on to specialized graduate study. This bachelor's program is offered in English by Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, a state university, over a 4 year course of study. The program combines theoretical instruction with applied engineering practice, aiming to prepare students for technical roles across the aviation and space sectors. Ankara's concentration of engineering-focused institutions provides a setting that can support exposure to research and industry activity relevant to aerospace work.
