Bachelor in Aerospace engineering and astronautics

Tuition costs 21,000 EUR per year, and applications for the Oct 2027 intake close on Jul 14, 2027.

Aerospace Engineering and Astronautics at the Military University of Technology is a bachelor's degree taught in English in Warszawa, Poland, with a duration of seven semesters and annual tuition of 5098.0 EUR. The programme is grounded in a thorough knowledge of mechanics, aerospace materials and technology, electronics fundamentals, microprocessor technology, automation, electrical engineering, applied computer science, and advanced computer techniques. Students work with a range of software tools and programming languages, including CAD/CAM/CAE systems such as UNIGRAPHICS and CFD tools such as FLUENT, ANSYS, NASTRAN, COSMOS, and MATLAB. As part of the first-cycle studies in Aeronautics and Astronautics, students can specialize in one of two paths: Avionics, or Airframe and Aircraft Propulsion, each offering knowledge and skills aligned with different interests and career goals within the aerospace field. The programme emphasizes practical skills alongside technical knowledge, aiming to prepare students for careers that value both innovation and reliability in aircraft design and operation. Aerospace engineering and astronautics as a discipline covers the design, construction, and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft, drawing on mechanical, electrical, and materials engineering together with specialized knowledge of flight dynamics and propulsion. Graduates of programmes in this field typically move into roles across the aerospace industry, including aircraft manufacturing, maintenance organizations, avionics companies, and research institutions connected to aviation and space technology. The combination of avionics and airframe and propulsion specializations reflects the two main technical tracks within aerospace engineering: electronic systems that control and monitor aircraft, and the mechanical structures and engines that keep them in the air.
