Bachelor of Agriculture Science (BAgSc)

Tuition is CAD 17,040 per year (international).

This four-year degree combines plant and soil science with real-world farming conditions and modern precision agriculture techniques. Classes take place in labs and fields. Topics include crop production, soil fertility, integrated pest management, and sustainable practices. Applied research and hands-on training prepare students for professional work in agriculture.

Coursework includes financial accounting, business law, microeconomics, irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and crop storage technology. Students take classes in plant physiology, agriculture chemistry, environmental soil physics, and analytics. A senior project in the final year connects learning through research and consulting tasks.

The program begins in September and accepts international students. Graduates qualify for the Professional Agrologist (PAg) designation from the Alberta Institute of Agrologists. Scholarships are available through a single online application.
