    Introduction

Johnson University brings together a Christ-centered community focused on faith, relationships, purpose, and meaningful service. Affordable tuition has guided the institution for more than 125 years. Many undergraduate students live on campus, where daily life includes study sessions, choir rehearsals, sports practice, meals with professors, worship nights, clubs, and service projects. Faculty members often host students for meals, Bible studies, and informal gatherings. Academically, undergraduate students pair a major in Bible and Theology with a major of their choice. Programs extend across ministry, education, business, computer science, mathematics, music, psychology, history, health science, intercultural studies, and media arts. Johnson also offers associate degrees, ten master’s degrees, an Ed.S. in educational technology, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies. Most graduate programs are completely online. Service is part of the undergraduate curriculum, including local engagement, service-learning, research, and cross-cultural experiences. Over four years, each student spends more than 120 hours serving ministries and causes. The Knoxville campus covers 440 acres and sits about 10 miles from downtown. Students have access to the Athletic and Recreation Complex and Graham Center, with fitness facilities, a pool, café, classes, intramurals, clubs, and varsity sports. Knoxville offers live music, shopping, food, and cultural activities, while the Great Smoky Mountains provide hiking and outdoor opportunities nearby. Students should expect a faith-based education and a campus culture where service and Christian community shape daily life.
