Bachelor in Architecture

At Cyprus International University, tuition fees are 7,100 EUR per year.

Architecture is the study of designing buildings and the spaces around them, blending technical knowledge with creative and social thinking. Students typically work through design studios, structural systems, building materials, architectural history, and computer-aided design tools, learning to translate a client's needs and a site's constraints into workable plans. Coursework also generally touches on urban planning, sustainability, and the legal and professional standards that shape how buildings are constructed and used. Studio-based critique is usually central to the curriculum, with students presenting and defending design decisions throughout their studies. Graduates typically pursue careers as architects, urban designers, or in construction and project management, and many continue toward professional licensure after completing further practical training. At Cyprus International University in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus, the Architecture bachelor's program is delivered in English over 4 years, giving international students a program of study conducted in a shared academic language while based in a Mediterranean setting with a layered architectural history spanning multiple civilizations. This local context can offer students direct exposure to varied building traditions alongside their formal coursework. Over the course of the program, students move from foundational drawing and design principles toward more complex, independent design projects, culminating in work that reflects both technical competence and design judgment. The program is structured to build a portfolio that students can use when entering the profession or pursuing further architectural education after graduation.
