Bachelor in Architecture

Architecture is a bachelor's degree program at the University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin, Poland, running 3,5 years, or 7 semesters, and taught in English. Graduates are described as being prepared for creative work in architectural and urban design, acquiring knowledge of the history and theory of architecture and urban planning, fine arts, construction and technologies, structures, building physics, and architectural and urban design itself, with the aim of being able to plan new cultural values or protect existing ones. The programme combines theoretical and practical education and covers technical and building regulations related to construction, copyright protection, construction law, professional ethics, economics, and the organization of the investment and planning process in Poland and in other EU member states, along with methods for organizing and developing the investment process. Studies last seven semesters, or three and a half years, and are offered on a full-time basis, concluding with a BSc degree in Architecture. Graduates are intended to be prepared for careers in the architectural sector, in areas including urban planning, the design of architectural objects and their surroundings, and construction and building inspection, with specializations available in architectural design, urban design, and urban revitalization. Architecture as a discipline covers the design of buildings and the spaces around them, combining technical knowledge of construction and materials with an understanding of history, aesthetics, and how people use built environments. Students in this field typically study design studios, structural principles, building technology, and planning law alongside history and theory courses. To apply, candidates choose a programme, complete an online application form, pay an enrolment fee to finalize submission, provide all required documents, pay the tuition fee for one semester or for a full academic year in advance, complete an English language test on the WSPA language testing platform, and then wait for an acceptance letter, which is sent by email.
