Automatisierung und Robotik

At Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, tuition is 1.500 EUR per semester; the deadline to apply for the Nov 2027 intake is Aug 15, 2027.

Students at Coburg start the Automation and Robotics programme with a semester of virtual/virtual online teaching, covering mathematical and scientific fundamentals, soft skills, and initial language instruction in English and German.

The curriculum is structured around key areas: mathematics, mechanics, electrical engineering, and programming, with practical lab sessions and project-based work fostering problem-solving and data analysis skills. The programme also includes a 20-week industry placement, typically in a German company, and a final-year engineering project and thesis. This hands-on approach, combined with language training and intercultural skills, prepares graduates for careers in automotive manufacturing, precision engineering, robotics, or industrial software development, and for further study at the master's level.
