Bachelor in Aviation Pilot Training

Aviation Pilot Training prepares students for careers as commercial pilots through a curriculum combining aeronautical theory with practical flight instruction. Coursework typically covers aerodynamics, aircraft systems, meteorology, air navigation, aviation regulations, and flight safety, alongside flight simulator sessions and supervised hours in the cockpit working toward the licenses required for commercial flying. Students also study crew resource management and emergency procedures, building the technical knowledge and judgment needed to operate aircraft safely under varying conditions. The program is structured to combine academic study with the accumulation of flight hours needed to progress from student pilot toward commercial and airline transport pilot qualifications. Graduates typically pursue careers as commercial airline pilots, cargo pilots, flight instructors, or corporate aviation pilots, working for airlines, charter companies, and flight training organizations. This bachelor's program runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Istanbul Okan University in İstanbul, Turkey, giving students access to the surrounding aviation infrastructure of a major international travel hub while completing their training.
