If you have finished high school with strong results in mathematics and physics and are keen to develop the ability to design, analyse and improve electrical and electronic systems, this four-year engineering degree is aimed at you. It builds on your existing knowledge to explore how energy is generated, transmitted and controlled, and how electronic devices and communication networks operate in today’s technology-driven world.

The programme combines lectures, laboratory experiments and design projects that simulate real-world challenges. In the later years you choose specialised electives and complete a 12-week industry placement, either in Australia or overseas, where you apply theory to practice. Communication and professional skills are woven into every semester, and industry-linked projects give you practical experience and professional contacts, preparing you for a range of engineering careers.
