The Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology builds broad technological knowledge across the field of information technology and core engineering subjects, alongside the mathematics and natural sciences relevant to the profession. The programme develops both oral and written communication skills in engineering contexts, and students graduate prepared to work independently and as part of a team. The curriculum fosters innovative and entrepreneurial skills alongside the technical foundations, preparing graduates to meet professional objectives in working life. Studies are held at Metropolia's Karamalmi and Myllypuro campuses, with a planned reorganisation of premises beginning in 2026 that may shift teaching to the Karamalmi and Myyrmäki campuses. The programme runs over four years and starts in January 2026. It is offered in English at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences in Espoo, Finland.
