Information Technology examines how digital systems are designed, built and maintained, addressing questions about data flow, network security, user interaction and software development. This Bachelor of Information Technology integrates core computer science concepts with practical engineering and mathematical methods, preparing graduates for roles across the technology sector.

The curriculum includes programming, problem-solving, network and communications, web technology, data management, system analysis, human-computer interaction and project management. Students engage with real-world projects and interact with industry professionals, enhancing job-readiness upon graduation.

Accredited by the Australian Computer Society, the degree offers flexibility through optional majors and pathways for credit from prior learning, catering to both recent school leavers and those with TAFE or work experience.
