Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence

Tuition comes to 62,730 AED per year.

Artificial intelligence as a field of study concerns the design of systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence, and the Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence at American University of Ras Al Khaimah builds this expertise from foundational computer science through specialized machine learning and intelligent systems coursework. Students in programs of this kind commonly study programming, algorithms, data structures, probability and statistics, and linear algebra before advancing into machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics. Coursework often includes practical work with datasets and software tools used to build and evaluate predictive models, alongside discussion of the ethical questions raised by automated and algorithmic decision-making. Because artificial intelligence systems depend heavily on data, students typically gain experience with data collection, cleaning, and analysis as a core part of their technical training. Group projects and applied coursework are common features of the degree, giving students opportunities to design and test AI-based solutions to defined problems. Graduates of artificial intelligence programs pursue careers as machine learning engineers, data scientists, AI researchers, and software developers, with demand for these skills spanning technology companies, financial institutions, healthcare providers, logistics operators, and government digital services. The United Arab Emirates has prioritized artificial intelligence as part of its broader national strategy for technology and innovation, creating a growing local market for graduates trained in this field. Some students go on to further graduate study to deepen their specialization in areas such as computer vision or natural language processing. This bachelor's degree is taught in English at American University of Ras Al Khaimah, located in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, and the program is accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation.
