Bachelor Program of Computer Science and Information Engineering(International)

At National Dong Hwa University, tuition comes to 51,530 TWD per year.

Computer science and information engineering covers the theory and practice of computing, including programming, algorithms, computer systems, networks, and software development. Undergraduate study in the field typically begins with foundational coursework in programming languages, data structures, and computer architecture, before progressing to more specialized topics such as software engineering, database systems, networking, and, increasingly, areas like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Programs at this level generally combine theoretical coursework with hands-on projects and programming assignments. Graduates of undergraduate computer science and information engineering programs pursue careers as software developers, systems engineers, network engineers, or IT specialists across a wide range of industries, and many continue toward graduate study for more specialized technical roles. The field is central to nearly every modern industry, given the reliance of businesses and organizations on software systems, networks, and data infrastructure, and graduates are typically well positioned for work in technology companies as well as technical roles within other sectors. This undergraduate program, designed for international students, is offered by National Dong Hwa University, located in eastern Taiwan, with instruction conducted in English. As part of the university's engineering and science programs, it connects computer science and information engineering study with related technical disciplines on campus. Applicants are generally expected to have completed secondary education with a solid foundation in mathematics and logical reasoning, and should be prepared for progressively technical coursework in programming and systems design. For international students interested in a technical career in computing, this program offers an English-taught undergraduate route into the field in Taiwan.
