As the construction industry is one of the largest employers in the world, construction managers are needed to effectively step into this vital role. CBU’s construction management program will prepare students to do just that. They’ll gain an understanding of design, estimation, project controls, human relations and the legal aspects of the construction industry. Construction management students are required to accrue a minimum of 200 internship hours during the course of their studies. Through this, students gain valuable experience and build their professional networks in preparation for full-time employment after graduation. Over the last few years each graduating class has placed 100% of its students within the industry. Alumni have gone on to work at McCarthy Building Companies, Granite Construction, Hensel Phelps, Tilden-Coil Constructors and Kiewit Construction, among others.
