The Dance Studies program allows for the flexibility to connect dance to an outside area of study. As a B.A. Dance Studies major you’ll receive a comprehensive technical dance training built on a solid liberal arts foundation. This allows for the opportunity to double major and connect outside interests, preparing you for a wide range of careers. In the FSC Dance Program you will study a wide range of dance techniques including ballet and contemporary modern to jazz dance and improvisation. Additionally, you will take various theory courses such as choreography and dance pedagogy and have the opportunity to study with dance professionals through rehearsals and guest artist residencies. As a FSC Dance major you will hone your voice and craft as a future artist.
