After you complete your first degree, you may enrol in Acadia’s Bachelor of Education (BEd) program. This full-time program is offered in either a traditional two-year format or a 16-month consecutive format. Our BEd program is offered at the elementary level and secondary level. Its rigorous training will provide you with the broad skill set you need to teach young children. It will also provide the subject-specific expertise you need to help students reach more advanced levels of education. Society will always need teachers and those with the skills an education degree provides. If you study to be a teacher, you will always be highly employable.
