Wageningen University & Research (WUR) offers this targeted workshop through Wageningen in’to Languages, leveraging the university's expertise in digital literacy and research communication. This session is designed for professionals and academics who are curious about Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) but lack formal experience with tools like Copilot.

Rather than abstract theory, the workshop focuses on immediate, practical utility. Participants engage in a hands-on environment, using their own tasks and texts to experiment with AI-driven workflows. The curriculum balances technical proficiency with the ethical imperatives of modern research and office work, ensuring that efficiency gains do not come at the expense of privacy, academic integrity, or critical human oversight.

Core Focus Areas

• Practical Prompt Engineering: Learning to structure inputs to elicit high-quality, iterative outputs while maintaining control over the process.
• Responsible Implementation: Navigating the complexities of data privacy, bias mitigation, and the necessity of human fact-checking.
• Tool Selection: Strategically choosing between various GenAI platforms based on the specific requirements of teaching, research, and administrative tasks.
