The Basic Survival Chinese program at Jiangsu University is a non-degree course for short-term learners and workers in China, lasting 18 semesters. It helps students with daily life necessities like greeting, introduction, and shopping.

The curriculum covers topics such as date, time, location, transportation expressions, making phone calls, and appointments. Students will learn these skills through hands-on components and practice.

After completing the course, students can work as Tour Guides, Hotel Receptionists, Sales Assistants, or Customer Service Representatives in industries like hospitality, retail, or tourism, with potential employers including hotels, restaurants, or travel agencies.
