During the Student Startup project in your second year, you and fellow students from various economic programmes will establish a real business in just six months.

As a business administration student, you will develop strategies to make organizations more efficient, innovative, and sustainable. You will advise on important decisions and support organizations in making strategic choices. By analyzing and advising, you will help companies improve their performance and stay competitive. You will work on real organizational problems and learn to research, analyze, and develop solutions, collaborating with students from different programs like Finance & Control and Human Resource Management. Throughout the programme, you'll focus on creating impact, working with teams, and having a broad interest in economics. The programme also emphasizes entrepreneurship, with opportunities to start your own business or minor in entrepreneurship.

In the first year, you will explore organizational problems and learn about financial and legal processes, working with data, and collaborating with others. You will visit companies and speak with alumni to gain insights into the professional field. In the final year, you will undertake a practical internship and complete a minor, applying your skills in real-world settings and broadening your knowledge. The curriculum includes a mix of theoretical and practical elements, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience and collaboration with other students and professionals.

This programme also brings you to the HZ campus on Edisonweg in Vlissingen, where you will get to explore the historic town and nearby beaches. The programme is designed to prepare you for a variety of roles in management, business analysis, and advisory positions, with opportunities to study further through premaster trajectories and master programmes at Tilburg University.
