Bachelor in BEng in Logistics

At Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), applications close 1 April to 15 June for the following winter semester.

The BEng in Logistics at THWS provides grounding in the technical, IT, business, and scientific dimensions of logistics. Beyond subject knowledge, the programme places explicit emphasis on personal and professional skills — including teamwork, time management, assertiveness, problem identification, and systematic problem solving. Small-group facilitated projects on current real-world topics form a regular part of the teaching approach. The programme runs over 7 semesters, starting in the winter semester. The first three semesters cover foundational subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Operations Management, Technical Mechanics, Transportation Management and Forwarding, Project Management, and Scientific Working. Semesters four and five introduce advanced subjects such as Material Flow Systems, Supply Chain Management, International Logistics, Strategic Purchasing, Logistics Services, and SAP. Semester six is a 20-week internship. Semester seven completes the programme with the Bachelor's thesis, soft skills courses, and elective courses.
