Beijing Film Academy, located in Beijing, China, is a top institution for film education, offering a unique opportunity for international students to learn the art and skill of filmmaking alongside Chinese students. The academy focuses on filmmaking, with 3 programs available, including a specialized Cinematography Department that has been educating students since 1950. This department prides itself on teaching the latest cutting-edge techniques, allowing students to express their own individual language about the image. You will have the opportunity to work with the newest camera and lighting equipment, thanks to partnerships with major camera companies like Arri and Red. The academy also hosts some of Asia's major film festivals, including The International Student Film and Video Festival, and invites big-name Directors, Actors, Producers, and Cinematographers, such as James Cameron and Ang Lee.

On campus, you will have access to four professional studios with state-of-the-art equipment, modern post-production and color grading facilities, and a library covering an area of 2057 square meters with a collection of 325,600 books and 1897.0GB e-books. The academy organizes various activities for international students, including Chinese Cultural Tours, visiting classical operas, and traditional art events. The Chinese Language program at Beijing Film Academy is a non-degree program for international students who want to learn Chinese. It lasts 6 semesters and is taught in Chinese.

The curriculum includes small class teaching and is divided into four categories: Elementary, pre-intermediate, Intermediate, and Advanced courses. Students will also have the chance to learn film languages in Chinese and participate in trips and sightseeing to learn about Chinese culture.

After completing this program, students can work as Chinese Language Teachers, Translators, Cultural Ambassadors, Language Consultants, or Tour Guides. They can find jobs in education, translation, government, or tourism industries.
