Biyoloji

At Middle East Technical University, the tuition fee is 2,400 USD per year.

Biology covers the study of living organisms, from molecular and cellular processes to ecosystems and evolutionary patterns. Typical coursework includes genetics, cell biology, microbiology, ecology, and evolutionary biology, supported by laboratory work in which students observe, measure, and experiment with biological systems directly. Students learn scientific methodology, including how to design experiments, collect and analyze data, and interpret results in the context of existing research. Many programs offer opportunities for fieldwork or research projects, allowing students to apply classroom learning to real biological questions. Graduates commonly pursue careers in research, healthcare-related fields, environmental science, or education, and biology serves as a common foundation for further graduate study in the life sciences. This bachelor's program is offered by Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, a state university, taught in English over 4 years. The curriculum is designed to build a broad understanding of biological systems alongside practical laboratory skills. Ankara's research institutions offer a relevant setting for students interested in extending their studies through research experience during the program.
