Bachelor in Biotechnology

This bachelor's programme in medical biotechnology is delivered in English at the Medical University of Silesia, through the School of Pharmacy with the Division of Laboratory Medicine in Sosnowiec, Katowice, Poland. It runs for six semesters as a first-degree, undergraduate course. The same school also offers medical biotechnology as a second-degree, graduate programme lasting four semesters, and a pharmacy programme lasting 5.5 years across eleven semesters, so students can continue toward a master's-level qualification at the same institution after finishing this degree. Medical biotechnology combines biology, chemistry, and laboratory science with an emphasis on health-related applications, covering areas such as diagnostics, pharmaceutical development, and laboratory medicine.
