The BTS — Support à l'action managériale (management support assistant) is a two-year higher technician certificate at Institution Saint Alyre in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The program prepares students to provide administrative, organizational, and informational support to managers and leadership teams within companies, public bodies, or non-profit organizations. Core coursework covers office communication in writing and orally, project coordination, information and document management, scheduling and diary management, budget monitoring, and the use of digital productivity and collaboration tools. Students also study organizational behavior, human resources support functions, event organization, and professional English. The program places strong emphasis on practical skills, and supervised workplace internships in real organizational settings are a central feature of the two years. Students learn to work autonomously and prioritize competing demands, which are key competences for the role. Instruction is in French.
