PhD in Built Environment

The PhD in Built Environment at Universiti Teknologi MARA is for students who want to research architecture, surveying, and town planning. This PhD program takes 3 to 5 years full-time and 3 to 6 years part-time, and is taught in English.

Students learn about critical thinking and analytical skills, and work on research projects to tackle complex issues in architecture and urban planning. They also develop skills in areas like surveying and town planning, and learn how to contribute original knowledge to the field.

Graduates can work as Urban Planners, Architectural Researchers, Environmental Consultants, or Policy Advisors. They can find jobs in government agencies, private firms, or academic institutions, and use their skills to adapt to the evolving demands of the industry.
