Karabük University

Bachelor in Business Administration

Karabük, Turkey Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

Business Administration provides a broad foundation across management, finance, marketing, accounting, and organizational behavior, preparing students to work across functional areas of a company or to start their own venture. Core coursework covers financial and managerial accounting, microeconomics and macroeconomics, marketing principles, human resource management, and business law, giving students a rounded understanding of how organizations operate and make decisions. Students also study strategic management, operations, and increasingly, digital business and data-driven decision making, reflecting how technology has reshaped many business functions. Case study analysis is a common teaching method, where students examine real or realistic business scenarios and propose solutions, building analytical and decision-making skills that transfer directly to workplace settings. Group projects and presentations are frequent, developing teamwork and communication skills alongside the technical business content. Many programs include an entrepreneurship component, encouraging students to think about starting and growing new ventures alongside working within established organizations. Because the discipline is broad, students often use elective coursework to build depth in a specific area such as finance, marketing, or human resources before graduating. Graduates pursue careers across nearly every industry in roles such as management trainee, marketing associate, financial analyst, human resources specialist, and operations coordinator, and the degree is a common stepping stone toward more specialized graduate business study. This bachelor's program is taught in English over 4 years at Karabük University in Karabük, Turkey. Studying business in English prepares graduates for the international business environment, where English is widely used in reporting, communication, and cross-border commerce. The four-year program moves from foundational business and economics coursework toward more applied strategy and management coursework in later semesters.
