The programme runs over two years. In the first year you complete a 32-week foundation covering accounting, computers, economics, human resources, insurance, organisational behaviour, marketing and related core business subjects. The second year allows you to specialise in a chosen area such as Accountancy, Financial Services, Human Resources, Management, Municipal Administration or Sport Management, with optional co-op work terms for hands-on experience.

A concrete example is the Accountancy specialism, where you study cost accounting, auditing, taxation and financial accounting, using industry-standard software and completing business simulations, case studies and group projects. Optional co-operative education placements provide paid work experience and industry contacts.

The Management specialism is accredited by the Canadian Institute of Management, meeting the educational requirements for the Certified in Management (CIM) professional designation, a recognised credential for graduates entering supervisory or managerial roles.
