Master in BUT Carrières Sociales

Graduates of the BUT Carrières Sociales go on to careers in social and sociocultural animation, working with diverse groups including adolescents, young children and the elderly. The three-year programme, based at the Campus Universitaire de Troubiran in Cayenne, combines theoretical and practical teaching, with 22 to 26 weeks of professional experience, and a focus on group work and project management. The curriculum includes disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, and political science, and culminates in a final project, an internship and a professional placement. The objective is to prepare students to coordinate social and sociocultural projects, analyse complex social situations, and work effectively with diverse communities and partners.
