Master in Capacité d'Evaluation et Traitement de la Douleur

The Capacité d'Evaluation et Traitement de la Douleur is a two-year, high-level program held in partnership with Université de Lyon, Université Grenoble Alpes and Clermont Université.It is designed for medical professionals who have completed a doctorate and wish to specialise in pain management.

This program is rooted in the department's and university's particular strength and reputation in medical education, particularly in the field of pain management and neurosciences. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of neuroscience to clinical and therapeutic aspects of pain management. The program includes 160 hours of coursework spread over 11 modules, as well as a 30-day clinical placement in specialized pain management centers.

Graduates of this program will be well-equipped to manage pain in both hospital and private practice settings, with a particular focus on chronic pain and its multidisciplinary aspects.
