This programme focuses on advanced study in chemical engineering with a strong emphasis on research and application in energy systems, catalysis, and sustainable processes. Students engage in coursework and research that addresses real-world challenges in energy transition and environmental remediation. Graduates pursue roles in research and development, process engineering, and technical consulting within energy, environmental, and materials industries.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field with a background in chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Required undergraduate courses include material and energy balances, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, separations, and reaction engineering. A minimum GPA and official transcripts are required.

The programme totals about 30 credit hours. On-campus, full-time or part-time, typically two years for full-time students. For international students, tuition is well above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 60% of applicants.
