Bachelor in Chemical Engineering

Tuition is 14,000 USD per year.

Chemical Engineering applies principles of chemistry, physics, and mathematics to design and operate processes that transform raw materials into useful products. Coursework typically covers thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mass and heat transfer, reaction engineering, and process design, supported by laboratory work and, in many programs, plant-scale simulation exercises. Students learn to analyze chemical processes for efficiency, safety, and environmental impact. Graduates commonly work in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, materials manufacturing, and environmental engineering, or continue into graduate study. This 4 years bachelor program is offered at Atılım University in Ankara, Turkey, with instruction delivered in English. The program builds from core chemistry and physics through the specialized process-engineering coursework that distinguishes chemical engineering from other engineering disciplines, with an emphasis on translating chemical principles into industrial-scale processes. Ankara offers an academic base for this engineering program within Turkey's higher education system. Graduates are prepared to enter process industries where chemical transformation, plant design, and safety management are central concerns, and the degree also provides a foundation for further specialization in areas such as materials, environmental, or biochemical engineering.
