As a broader field, chemical engineering applies principles from chemistry and process design to the development, scale-up, and operation of industrial manufacturing processes, and organic and polymer technology specifically focuses on the chemistry and processing of carbon-based compounds and polymer materials used across a wide range of manufacturing sectors.
