Master in Chemistry (CH)

Graduates of the Chemistry (CH) Master's degree from the University of Technology, Compiègne (UTC) and the University of Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens (UPJV) find careers in academic and industrial R&D, project management, and analytical, control, and inspection functions. This programme combines contributions from various research teams and laboratories, including the competitivity cluster (IAR) Industries & Agro-Resources, the PIVERT Institute for the Energy Transition, and the Basins-Reservoirs-Resources (B2R) unit. Students can specialise in fields such as biotechnology, plant biology, and process engineering, with opportunities for internships and partnerships with professional experts. The programme is structured into four semesters, with the fourth semester dedicated to a long internship and a mandatory short internship in the second semester.

This programme is taught on both the UPJV-Amiens and UTC-Compiègne campuses, and offers 8 specialties, including Biotechnologies of Natural Resources, Formulated Product Engineering, and Processes for Valorisation of Renewable Resources. The curriculum includes a mix of core and elective courses, with a focus on practical skills and industry relevance. The programme is taught in French and English, with English language training available to students.
