    About MSc Chemistry

The MSc in Chemistry is a thesis-based programme that places a research project at the centre of study, requiring at least a year of supervised laboratory work. You will work closely with a faculty supervisor, conduct original experiments, and develop critical-thinking, data-analysis and scientific-communication skills across analytical, organic, inorganic, physical chemistry and biochemistry.

A distinctive feature of this course is the one-to-one supervision model that lets you shape your coursework to support your specific research interests, while benefiting from the department’s broad research expertise. Graduates move into research roles in industry, government or continue to doctoral study.
