Students complete online theory modules covering the childbearing year from pre-conception to early parenting. They observe three births and a 12-hour prenatal class series led by an experienced educator. Students attend a two-day in-person teaching skills workshop to develop practical teaching techniques. They co-teach a prenatal class under supervision to gain hands-on experience.

Two years to complete twenty-two online modules, birth observations, class observations, a required teaching skills workshop, and a teaching practicum. No formal credit system stated.

Graduates become certified childbirth educators who teach prenatal classes.
