Bachelor in Childhood Education Dual (BA)

The Childhood Education Dual (BA) programme at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences integrates three days of teaching with two days of practice in childcare facilities weekly. Students gain hands-on experience from the start, working with children from birth to 12 years old and their families. The programme focuses on developing research, observational, and critical skills, as well as scientific, analytical, and practice-based questioning skills. Students receive monthly remuneration and support from both the university and their workplace, leading to state recognition as childhood educators upon completion.
