China Know How Program

For China Know How Program, applications for the Sep 2027 intake are due by May 15, 2027; tuition fees are 8,000 CNY per semester.

The China Know How Program is a non-degree program at Northwest University for students who want to learn about China. It lasts one semester and is taught in English.

The program covers Chinese language and culture, as well as courses on modern China's economics, management, law, culture, and history. Students take 2 to 3 courses in the morning and 2 to 3 courses in the afternoon.

After completing the program, students can work as cultural advisors, language teachers, or international business consultants. They can also work in government, tourism, or education.

Northwest University (NWU) in Xi'an is a well-established, multidisciplinary institution with roots dating back to the early 20th century. The university offers around 54 programmes across two main campuses and hosts approximately 600 international students. Admission to Chinese-taught programmes generally requires HSK certification, while English-taught options accept recognised English proficiency results; strong academic records and research outputs strengthen PhD applications.
