Chinese Language Program

Shandong Jianzhu University (SJU) in Jinan, Shandong is a well-established public institution with roots going back to 1956. Originally formed as a construction and engineering school, it has developed into a comprehensive university offering undergraduate through doctoral education after expanding master-level offerings in 1998 and doctoral-level study in 2012. The campus combines modern facilities with regional cultural heritage, providing a supportive environment for students focused on technical and applied disciplines.

SJU is engineering-centered with notable strengths in architecture, civil engineering and construction management, while also offering programs across science, management, liberal arts, law and art. The Chinese Language Program at Shandong Jianzhu University is a non-degree program for students who want to learn Chinese. It lasts one year and is taught in Chinese.

This program helps students develop their Chinese language skills through various subjects and hands-on components. Students learn how to communicate in real-life situations and improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

After completing this program, students can work as Chinese language teachers, translators, interpreters, or cultural consultants. They can find jobs in education, government, or private companies that do business with China.
